Nexavar 200mg Tablet (Sorafenib) is a targeted cancer therapy used to treat advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), renal cell carcinoma (RCC), and differentiated thyroid cancer that is resistant to radioactive iodine treatment. Sorafenib works by inhibiting multiple cancer cell kinases, blocking tumor cell proliferation and cutting off blood supply to tumors through anti-angiogenic activity.

Each pack of Nexavar contains 6 strips of 10 tablets (6×10’s), with each tablet delivering 200mg of Sorafenib Tosylate. Nexavar is administered orally and is typically prescribed for daily use, with dosage and treatment duration determined by an oncologist based on the patient’s condition and therapeutic response.

Nexavar provides effective tumor growth control and may improve survival rates in patients with advanced liver or kidney cancer. It targets proteins involved in tumor progression, including RAF kinases, VEGFR, and PDGFR, making it a comprehensive multi-kinase inhibitor.

Patients should take Nexavar on an empty stomach, either 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals, for optimal absorption. Regular monitoring of liver function, blood pressure, and thyroid function is necessary during therapy.

Common side effects include hand-foot skin reactions, diarrhea, hypertension, weight loss, and fatigue. Serious side effects should be promptly reported to a healthcare provider.
