Levemir Flexpen
Levemir FlexPen (Insulin Detemir 100IU/mL) is a long-acting insulin analog used to manage type 1 and type 2 diabetes mellitus. It helps control blood sugar levels throughout the day and night, providing a steady basal insulin effect for up to 24 hours. This makes Levemir ideal for once or twice-daily injections, as prescribed by your doctor.
Each FlexPen contains 3mL of Insulin Detemir (100IU/mL) and is pre-filled for convenient and accurate dosing. The FlexPen eliminates the need for cartridges or vials, offering a simple and discreet insulin delivery system that’s easy to carry and use on the go.
Levemir is typically used in combination with rapid-acting insulin for mealtime coverage or as a stand-alone basal insulin therapy. It ensures stable blood glucose control with a lower risk of nocturnal hypoglycemia compared to some other long-acting insulins.
Administer Levemir by subcutaneous injection in areas such as the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm. Rotate injection sites regularly to prevent lipodystrophy. Patients must not inject this insulin intravenously or intramuscularly.
Store unused FlexPens in a refrigerator between 2°C and 8°C. Once in use, keep the pen at room temperature (below 30°C) and use within 42 days.
LIORESAL 10mg Tablet 3x10s
₨ 3,000Lioresal 10mg Tablet (Baclofen) is a centrally acting muscle relaxant used to treat muscle spasticity caused by conditions like multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injuries, or cerebral palsy. Baclofen helps relieve muscle stiffness, spasms, and tightness by acting on the spinal cord to inhibit nerve reflexes, providing better muscle control and reducing discomfort.
Each pack of Lioresal contains 3 strips of 10 tablets (3x10s), with each tablet providing 10mg of Baclofen. The medication helps improve mobility, ease painful muscle contractions, and enhances daily functioning in patients with neurological conditions that lead to spasticity.
Doctors commonly prescribe Lioresal for long-term spasticity management. Dosage is typically individualized and may start with a low dose, gradually increasing as per the patient’s response. Patients should strictly follow their physician’s prescription and should not stop taking Lioresal suddenly, as abrupt discontinuation may lead to withdrawal symptoms or worsening spasticity.
Lioresal is usually taken with or after meals to reduce the risk of gastrointestinal discomfort. Regular follow-ups with your doctor are essential to monitor treatment effectiveness and adjust the dosage if needed.
Store Lioresal tablets at room temperature (below 25°C), away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
