Tritace 5mg is an antihypertensive medication and is used to treat high blood pressure, heart failure and kidney disease. Each tablet of Tritace 5mg contains the active ingredient Ramipril, which is an angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor.

It works by relaxing and widening blood vessels, which reduces the blood pressure. This makes it easier for the heart to pump blood throughout the body.
What dose should I choose?
A typical dose of Tritace 5mg for an adult is 1.25 mg or 2.5 mg once daily and gradually increased to 8mg in 24 hours.
It is not recommended for children.
If you skip a dose by any chance, take it as soon as you remember. Skip the already missed dose if it’s almost time for the next one. Do not double the dose.
