Solifen 10mg Tablet is a bladder control medication. It is used for the treatment of increased urge of urination and urinary frequency. Each tablet of Solifen 10mg contains the active ingredient Solifenacin, which is a muscarinic receptor antagonist.
How effective is Solifen 10mg?
Solifen 10mg Tablet is a very effective medication. Its use is indicated for the treatment of an overactive bladder; a condition called urge contingence. This condition causes the bladder to contract when it should not and cause the leakage of urine through the sphincter muscles. This medication is also used to treat increased urinary urgency and frequency. Solifen 10mg works by relaxing the bladder muscles and increasing the volume of urine the bladder can hold. It eases the symptoms and helps control urination.
What dose should I choose?
In adults, the recommended dose is 1 Tablet (10 mg) taken orally once a day. The dose can be taken with or without food.
This drug is not recommended for use in children.
If you skip a dose by any chance, take it as soon as you remember. Skip the missed dose if it’s almost time for the next one. Do not double the dose.
