Sita Met 50mg/500mg Tablets help treat the symptoms of high blood sugar. It is a combination of Sitagliptin and Metformin drugs. Sitagliptin belongs to DPP4 inhibitors, whereas Metformin belongs to the Biguanides class of drugs. Sitagliptin works by increasing the secretion of insulin from the pancreas. Metformin increases the peripheral utilization of glucose. Both are given together to control the blood sugar and keep it in the normal range in patients who are not responding to monotherapy.

The recommended dose of Sita Met 50mg/500mg for adults (above 18 years) is 1 tablet a day.
