About Sert 50mg Tablet
Sert 50mg Tablet is used for the treatment of premenstrual syndrome (premenstrual dysphoric disorder), post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, social phobia (social anxiety disorder), and panic attacks.
How effective is Sert 50mg?    Â
Sert 50mg Tablet is composed of Sertraline, which belongs to a group of medicines known as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRI). Sert shows effectiveness by restoring the balance of serotonin (a natural substance) in the brain. This tablet also improves your energy level, appetite, sleep, and mood. Sert 50mg also decreases fear, the number of panic attacks, unwanted thoughts, and anxiety.
What dose should I choose?
For adults and children (above 13), take 1 tablet of Sert a day, or as prescribed by the doctor.
For children (below 6-12), take half a tablet of Sert 50mg.
For children (below 6), Sert 50mg Tablet is not recommended.

What are the side effects and other warnings when taking Sert 50mg?
Some side-effects may be caused by Anvol 2.5mg Tablet, but they are extremely rare.
Side effects can include:
- Trouble sleeping
- Drowsiness
- Nausea
- Upset stomach
- Dizziness
- Loss of appetite
- Diarrhoea
Some serious side effects may also occur;
- Easy bleeding
- Unusual weight loss
- Muscle weakness
- Decreased interest in sex
- Ejaculation delay
- Tremors
Sert’s warnings include;
- Share your medical history, especially of glaucoma, family history of bipolar disorder, thyroid problems, liver disease, and seizures, with your doctor before using this drug.
- Inform your doctor if you are allergic to the active ingredients of Sert 50mg.
- Consult your doctor before using Sert 50mg if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
