Qbal 500 mcg Tablet is a Vitamin B12 supplement. It is used for the treatment and prevention of pernicious anaemia caused by the deficiency of Vitamin B12 and for the relief of diabetic neuropathy. Each table of Qbal contains the active ingredient Mecobalamin, which is a type of Vitamin B12.
How effective is Qbal 500 mcg tablet?
Qbal 500 mcg Tablet provides the body with a regular dose of Vitamin B12. It is beneficial for brain and nerve health; hence it is used for the treatment of neuropathy associated with diabetes and other conditions. Qbal also helps in the formation of red blood cells, therefore it is used for the treatment of pernicious and megaloblastic anaemia. Other conditions in which the use of Qbal is indicated include congenital intrinsic factor deficiency, homocysteinemia, and postgastrectomy Vitamin B12 deficiency.
What dose should I choose?
In adults, the usual dose is 1 tablet of Qbal taken orally once per day, or as recommended by your doctor. Your dose may be changed if you become pregnant, are breast-feeding, or on a vegetarian/vegan diet.
Qbal Tablet is not recommended for use in children.
If you skip a dose by any chance, take it as soon as you remember. Skip the already missed dose if it’s almost time for the next one. Do not double the dose.
What are the side-effects and other warnings when taking Qbal?
Many individuals using Qbal do not experience any side-effects. Some common and uncommon side-effects when taking Qbal include:
