Getformin 1mg + 500mg Tablet is composed of Glimepiride + Metformin. Glimepiride is a sulfonylurea, which shows effectiveness by increasing the amount of insulin produced by the pancreas. Metformin is a biguanide, which shows effectiveness by lowering glucose production in the liver.
