Britanyl 60ml Syrup is used to treat the symptoms of bronchospasm and constriction of airways due to asthma. It relieves wheezing, chest tightness, and shortness of breath. It is used to treat bronchial asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, and all other bronchopulmonary disorders in which bronchospasm is a complicating factor.
How effective is Britanyl 60ml Syrup?
Britanyl 60ml Syrup is used to control, prevent, and treat the symptoms of asthma, airways constriction, wheezing, and shortness of breath. It contains Terbutaline Sulfate and belongs to the Beta 2 Stimulant class of drugs. It works by relaxing and opening the muscles of the airways, thus making breathing easy.
What dose should I choose?
For adults and children (above 15 years), up to 15mg of Britanyl 60ml Syrup can be taken in a day, in divided doses.
For children (12-15 years of age), up to 7.5mg of Britanyl 60ml Syrup can be taken in a day, in divided doses
Britanyl 60ml Syrup is not recommended for children (below 12 years).
