How effective are Belphamide 5ml Drops?
Belphamide 5ml Drops are composed of Sulfacetamide and Prednisolone. Sulfacetamide is an antibiotic, which shows effectiveness by stopping the growth of bacteria and eventually killing them. Prednisolone is a corticosteroid, which shows effectiveness by reducing the symptoms of inflammation. Belphamide shows effectiveness only against bacterial infections and will not work for other types of eye infections.
What dose should I choose?
For adults and children (above 6), take 1-2 drops of Belphamide in the eyes 1-2 times a day, or as prescribed by the doctor.
Belphamide 5ml Drops is not recommended for use in children (below 6).
