Asilix 500mg Tablet is used to treat the symptoms of various bacterial infections, such as sinusitis, respiratory tract infections (like community-acquired pneumonia), skin and soft tissue infections, urinary tract infections. It is also used for post-exposure prophylaxis and curative treatment of anthrax inhalation.

How effective is Asilix 500mg?

Asilix 500mg Tablet is used to control, prevent, and treat the symptoms of different bacterial infections in different parts of the body. It contains Levofloxacin as an active ingredient, which belongs to the Fluoroquinolones class of drugs. It works by inhibiting the growth of bacteria; thus, it is known as bactericidal.

What dose should I choose?

For adults (18 and above), take 1 tablet of Asilix 500mg one a day, for 7-14 days.

For children (17 years and below), Asilix 500mg Tablet is not recommended.
