Muscoril 4mg Capsule is used to reduce inflammation and pain, because of it’s anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects. It belongs to the muscle relaxant class and used to manage acute and chronic painful muscular problems.
How effective are Muscoril 4mg?
Muscoril 4mg Capsule contains Thiocolchicoside as an active ingredient and given as adjunct treatment. It works by reducing pain and swelling. It is indicated for Muscle stiffness caused due to nerve disease, muscle disease, spine issues, and joint disease. Muscoril 4mg works on the brain centres and spinal cord such as GABBA receptor antagonists and glycine receptor antagonists. It has a marked anticonvulsant effect, so it should not be given to seizure patients.
What dose should I choose?
It is indicated for adults and adolescents from 16 years and above. The maximum daily recommended dose is 16mg in divided doses.
For children (below 16 years), this medicine is not recommended. It is not helpful for people under 16 years.

Avoid Alcoholic products while using Muscoril 4mg Capsule.
It must not be used in case of paralysis or reduced muscle tone. It should also not be used in patients with seizures.
